A CARVED BAMBOO FIGURE OF A SEATED LUOHAN
QING DYNASTY, 17TH-18TH CENTURY
The seated figure is well carved with his right elbow resting on a pierced rock, wearing loose robes open at chest exposing his bony chest. His face is carved with prominent features with his mouth open in laugh as he peers down at the lion cub at his feet.
