A WHITE JADE 'SQUIRREL AND GRAPES' TEAPOT AND COVER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The teapot is of rounded form, with the handle and spout carved to imitate gnarled branches. It is carved in relief with a squirrel perched on a leafy grape branch encircling the teapot. The domed cover is similarly decorated.
