A GREENISH-WHITE JADE FLOWER-FORM BRUSH WASHER
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The washer is carved in the form of a six-petalled flowerhead with a rounded pistil on the interior, and the exterior is carved in openwork as gnarled flowering branches emerging from the base. The semi-translucent stone is of greenish-white tone with concentrated areas of russet.
