A MOTTLED SPINACH-GREEN JADE ARCHAISTIC CENSER AND COVER, BOSHANLU
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The censer is of rounded form raised on a tall, spreading foot and is carved in low relief with bands of archaistic motifs. The conical cover is carved in openwork as mountain peaks. The mottled stone is of bright green and greyish-green tones, and has some paler inclusions and dark speckling.
