One side of the plaque is carved in relief with Shoulao holding a lingzhi spray over his shoulder and accompanied by a boy carrying a large peach, the two walking beneath a pine tree in a rocky landscape, and the reverse is carved in lower relief with a deer in a similar landscape. The stone is of a greenish-white color with a few cloudy inclusions.
