Of pear-shaped bottle with butterflies among flowering branches decorated in iron red, green, yellow, aubergine and black over glaze enamels with a line of overglaze red encircling the base and two lines of overglazed red encircling the foot

This elegant bottle forms part of the early group of enameled wares from around 1650-60, prior to the period of export trade.
