A GILT COPPER SEATED FIGURE OF PADMASAMBHAVA
BHUTAN, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The deity is seated in dhyanasana upon a lotus base with his right hand holding a vajra to his heart and his left hand in dhyana mudra supporting a skull cap. A tantric staff rests on his left shoulder and he has a serene expression on his face.
