A LARGE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
18TH CENTURY
The bottle is carved in low relief with an Immortal standing amongst rocks, and from his hand emerges a dragon amongst scrolling clouds breathing out swirling waves. The carving cleverly uses the variations of the colours of the stone.
3 in. (7.7 cm.) high, stopper
