Lot Essay

The present reference 5016 is a fine example of the so-called "Bombé" series, French for "domed", referring to the unusual shape of the lugs of this model.

Preserved in very attractive, original overall condition, its rarity is enhanced by the rare stainless steel case, as opposed to the much better known gold versions of the "Bombé" models.
