Cal. 18''' SMCCQS fully jewelled nickel-finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, swan neck regulator, wolf tooth winding, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers onto a gong, engraved gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, blued steel spade hands, four subsidiary dials for month combined with leap year indicator, day, date and phases of the moon combined with constant seconds, circular case, repeating slide and chronograph button in the band, case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered

Lot Essay

With Audemars Piguet Certificate of Origin confirming that the present "triple complication" with chronometer standard movement was sold to the Republic of Argentina in 1909.

It is a wonderful example of one of Audemars Piguet's "Triple Complication" watches, meeting a level of superb quality characterizing the manufacture's timepieces.
