Oblong 2º (274 x 378mm). 7 hand-coloured etched plates with deckle edges. (First plate with small light stain.) Original buff wrappers, front wrapper bearing title, imprint and date, back wrapper printed with advertisement for other publications by S. and J. Fuller (rebacked in paper); mid 20th-century cloth chemise and slipcase backed in brown morocco, spine titled longitudinally in gilt.
COACHING PROBLEMS AND DISASTERS, typically involving the ejection of a fashionably-dressed lady. This is a reissue following the first edition of 1817. The final plate is watermarked 1818. FINE DECKLE-EDGED PLATES IN ORIGINAL WRAPPERS. cf. Dixon 8; Mellon/Snelgrove 79; Siltzer p. 69; Tooley 53.
