A VERY RARE AND FINELY CARVED BAMBOO 'PUPPIES' SEAL
QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The finial is carved in the round as two puppies curling up against each other. The circular seal is incised on the sides with a poetic inscription by the Yuan dynasty poet Yu Ji, followed by a Wanli tenth year date, and the signature Chen Gubai.
