A WHITE JADE 'LUDUAN' CARVING
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The stone is finely carved in the round with a recumbent single-horned luduan with head turned around to face its young, grasping a lingzhi spray in its mouth. The stone is of an even white tone with concentrated areas of pale russet.
