A MOTTLED GREENISH-WHITE AND APPLE-GREEN JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1850
The flattened body is carved in low relief on one side with a crane in flight above pine branches and on the reverse with a bell pendent from a pine branch above a further pine branch, rocks and a recumbent stag. The greenish-white stone has splashes of bright emerald-green color.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, glass stopper
