TWO INSIDE-PAINTED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES
The first, smaller bottle, signed Chen Zhongsan and dated gengxu year (1910), is decorated with a continuous scene of wide, pierced rock from behind which emerges a pine branch, with spiders and other insects within the scene. The larger bottle, signed Wang Baichuan and dated guichou year (1973), is decorated on one side with a cat resting on a rock, and on the other side with a crane on a pine branch.
2 7/8 and 2 ¾ in. (6 and 7 cm.) high, stone and jadeite stoppers
