AN AMBER-OVERLAY CLEAR GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
PROBABLY PALACE WORKSHOPS, BEIJING, 1760-1840
The bottle is carved through the transparent amber overlay to the bubble-suffused ground on either side with a coiled chi dragon with its head turned back to bite a curled tendril.
2 7/8 in. (7.2 cm.) high, glass stopper
