A JADE-INSET HONGMU CORNER-LEG TABLE

The single-panel top is set within a rectangular frame above a short waist carved with decorative scroll. The shaped aprons are carved with floral meander and inset with shaped greenish-white jade plaques and have openwork spandrels at the corners. The beaded legs are of square section terminating in scroll-form feet. The corners are fitted with shaped, gilt-metal mounts.
