A QIANGJIN AND TIANQI LACQUER KANG TABLE
18TH CENTURY
The rectangular top is decorated with an interlocking lotus and double-ruyi design, within a foliate scrollwork border and archaistic scrolls and ruyi on the edge. The narrow waist is decorated with clouds and foliate scrollwork, the shoulder with lotus lappets, and the openwork, ruyi-form apron and legs with dragons, lotus, and peony scrolling.
