Lot Essay

We are grateful to Fred Meijer of the RKD, The Hague, for his assistance in cataloguing the present lot. Mr Meijer suggests that the picture may be attributable to Cornelis van Huynen (active 1654-1703), who worked closely in the style of his master, Joris van Son.
