Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Franck Muller Certificate of Origin and Warranty London retailer Marcus and dated January 23rd 2009, Franck Muller leather envelope, Franck Muller presentation box and outer packaging.

Franck Muller is known for devising some of the most eccentric complications in modern horology. Some examples are the “Vegas” timepieces, including a roulette simulation, or the “Crazy Hours” timepieces, which feature the hours randomly arranged on the dial, the hour hand jumping to the correct numeral at the beginning of each hour. The present timepiece is another example of Franck Muller ingenuity: the hands always rest at 12:00 position, the actual time being revealed only when pressing the button at 9 o’clock. The luxurious diamond-set case and dial and the presence of the original certificate and guarantee further increase the appeal of this lavish timepiece.
