A Japanese ivory carving of a standing warrior
lifting another figure above his head beside two further figures holding his scarf -- 8½.in (21.5cm) high, signed; an ivory carving of a hunter weilding an axe while stepping on a prostrate eagle -- 8¾.in (22.2cm) high, wood stand; and an ivory zushi with stepped top, carved with dragons and lotus below clouds, the pierced doors opening to reveal a seated figure of Kannon above lanterns, censers and lotus sprays -- 7¼.in (18.5cm) high.
