the smiling old woman dressed in robes decorated with cloud-scrolls and waves, holding a saki cup in one hand and a staff in the other -- 9.in (22.9cm) high, signed, (chip); and a sectional ivory carving of a standing woodcutter carrying a pilre of sticks and holding a staff -- 11¾.in (29.8cm) high, signed on a red lacquer tablet.
