A SMALL MOTHER-OF-PEARL-INLAID BLACK LACQUER TABLE
MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The table top and aprons are decorated with narrative scenes, including a scholar on horseback, figures amongst pavilions below willow trees, and figures praying to immortals. The four cabriole legs are decorated with scrolling flowers.
12 ¼ in. high x 19 in. wide x 13 ½ in. deep (31 x 48.5 x 34.5 cm.)
