Each fan with the paper leaf decorated with a figural scene, each one applied with painted ivory faces and textile robes. The sticks are fashioned from metal filigree, filigree and enamel, ivory, tortoiseshell, sandalwood, and one fan also with mother-of-pearl sticks.
