A CANTONESE FAN AND A PAIR OF EMBROIDERED HANDSCREENS
19TH CENTURY
The Cantonese fan is decorated to one side with port vignettes and to the other with a figural scene highlighted with ivory faces and silk appliqué robes. The pair of handscreens are each embroidered to one side with pairs of birds, the ivory sticks are decorated with flowers and figures.
