With reblacked chopperlump Whitworth steel barrels signed in full and engraved 'WINNERS OF ALL THE "FIELD" RIFLE TRIALS, LONDON' on the tubes, matt sighting rib with rear-sight graduated to 300 yards and folding aperture-sight, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight with flip-up moon-sight, treble-grip rounded-bar action engraved '.500/.465 CHARGE 75 GRAINS CORDITE CASE 31/4 INCHES' on the underside, removable striker-discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE', signed locks with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, pistolgrip-cap with hinged trap-cover, the trap containing a spare serial numbered fore-sight element, best quality scroll engraving throughout, action and locks with traces of original case-hardened finish, figured 14 ½ in. pistolgrip stock including leather-covered butt-pad, vacant gold escutcheon, sling mounts, in a fitted leather case with Holland & Holland leather trade label, the lid initialled 'H.F.S.'
