The only official English-language publication of the reports of Amundsen’s Maud expedition, which attempted to locate the North Pole by traveling through the Northeast Passage. Despite many years of effort, neither the passage nor the attempt on the pole were completed, but valuable scientific and meteorological data were collected, which are described in this important publication.
