SONG-MING DYNASTY (960-1644)
The stone is carved in the round depicting a goose twirling its long neck and resting its neck on the body, its feet tucked underneath the body, its wing feathers rendered in fluid lines. The stone has a yellowish-green tinge largely covered with a dark russet ‘skin’.
