A LARGE OLIVE-GREEN AND RUSSET JADE MOUNTAIN
19TH CENTURY
The vertical mountain is carved in high relief on the front with a scholar carrying a peach branch followed by an attendant walking on a mountain path as they approach steps leading to a pavilion above, and the reverse is carved with lingzhi growing amidst overlapping rock faces. The olive-green stone has some opaque buff mottling and areas of russet color.
