painted with vignettes of Dutch peasants at various persuits, within scroll moulded and gilt panels on a dark blue gilt caillouté ground, the necks applied with bands oof roses, the handles formed as leaves terminating in double scroll serpents, enriched in matt and burnished gilt, on square marbled bases, blue crossed swords marks, incised numerals, Pressnummern -- 38cm. high, late 19th century (minor chips) (2)
