painted to the centre with couples, wearing 18th century dress by a classical urn within a shaped panel of gilt and black laub-und-bandelwerk, radiating four similar cartouches painted with figures by a harbour and in rural settings, within similar panels, the ground painted in the manner of Klinger with insects among scattered sprigs, blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 22 -- 23.5cm. diam., circa 1745 (wear)
