Details
Château Latour 1997
Pauillac, 1er cru classé
In original wooden case. Capsule conge. Original tissues.
Tasting note: First tasted alongside the ’96 at the chateau in September 1998: deep, fairly intense; a whiff of liquorice; surprisingly sweet, in fact delicious with pleasant, oaky endtaste. Again the following March, I liked it enormously, recording an aroma of raspberry and cedar. Sweet again. ‘Lovely fruit. Complete’ **** M.B.
