A commentary on the Qur'an (tafsir), Ottoman Turkish manuscript on paper, 401ff., plus four flyleaves, 25ll. of small black naskh, keywords and phrases underlined in red and gold, within gold rules, gold roundel verse markers, headings in white thuluth on gold and polychrome illuminated floral panels, catchwords, the opening five folios with contents in a gold illuminated grid, the following bifolio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece and rules flanked by two marginal floral vase motifs, the colophon signed and dated in clouds reserved against a gold pricked ground with polychrome flowers, in stamped and gilt brown morocco, gilt red paper doublures, overall good condition
