A FINE LONGQUAN CELADON LOTUS-FORM DISH
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The dish with shallow flared sides rising from a short foot is moulded on the exterior with a band of upright lotus petals, covered inside and out with a thick unctuous glaze of pale sea-green tone with the exception of the foot ring.
