A VERY RARE YAOZHOU BLACK-GLAZED CYLINDRICAL VASE
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The vase is sturdily potted with a straight cylindrical body rising from a slightly splayed foot, towards a small lipped mouth. It is covered overall in a glaze of brownish-black tone, except for the base and foot.
