The parcel which Nelson was awaiting, no doubt with great impatience, would have contained letters from Lady Hamilton, who frequently sent her letters, usually several at a time, to M. Falconet, a French refugee, of Messrs, Gibbs, Falconet and Noble, bankers at Naples, to forwarded by safe hand to Nelson whenever an opportunity arose.
