A RED-OVERLAY 'SNOWSTORM' GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1750-1850
The bottle is carved on one side with a tiger crouching on a rock beneath a pine tree, its long tail rising through the center of the scene, with a bat flying to one side, and all above a band of waves that continues around the bottle. The reverse is carved with a writhing dragon amidst clouds.
2 7⁄8 in. (7.2 cm.) high, glass stopper
