the hood with flat top (part of side cornice lacking) and outset fluted columns, wavy top to the crossbanded trunk door flanked by fluted pilasters, on block plinth with raised panel, the 13½in. (35cm.) square white painted dial with floral spandrels and signed J. Bateman Mold, with rolling moon and date apertures in the centre, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; case and dial associated, dial repainted -- 81¼in. (206.5cm.) high
