Revolution-era royal almanac, in a contemporary binding displaying the arms of Louis XVI.
Octavo (197 × 117mm). Woodcut arms of Louis XV on title-page, woodcut moon phases (light spotting, some leaves toned, occasional offsetting). Contemporary French red panelled morocco tooled in gold, arms of Louis XV on covers, fleur-de-lys cornerpieces, lettering and fleur-de-lys tools in spine compartments, board edges and turn ins tooled in gold, edges gilt, blue endpapers (rubbed at extremities, corners lightly bumped, head of spine chipped); custom box.
