Introduced in 2021, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce Travel Time reference 5269/200R-001 combines the sporty elegance of the Aquanaut with the practical functionality of a dual-time-zone display. Crafted in 18k pink gold, the model was conceived as an elegant travel companion, bringing Patek Philippe's celebrated Travel Time concept to the Aquanaut Luce collection.

For this model, Patek Philippe reinterpreted the ingenious Travel Time system already used in the men's Aquanaut reference 5164. Rather than employing the two pushers traditionally positioned on the left side of the case, the manufacture developed a more discreet system operated entirely through the crown. Powering the watch is the specially developed quartz calibre E 23-250 S FUS 24H, incorporating the dual-time-zone mechanism while preserving the elegant proportions of the Aquanaut Luce.

Two central hour hands display the respective time zones: a skeletonised hand indicates home time, while a solid hand displays local time. When travelling, the local hour hand can be adjusted forwards or backwards in one-hour increments through the crown without affecting the movement's rate accuracy. The model's practical functionality is beautifully balanced by its jewelry execution. The characteristic rounded octagonal bezel, highlighted by a polished bevel, is set with 48 diamonds weighing approximately 1.17 carat.
