Lot Essay

The present Vacheron Constantin yellow gold, diamond, and ruby-set bracelet watch is simply breathtaking. It is a work of art that goes beyond simple horology and is regarded as a serious piece of high jewelry.

Manufactured in 1977, the 28 brilliant-cut diamonds and 6 rubies are matched for colour and clarity. This timepiece, which is ideal for both daytime elegance and evening sophistication, is one of the maison's most exquisite vintage creations. Furthermore, the bracelet is adorned with 92 brilliant-cut diamonds and 24 oval-cut rubies. This association offers discriminating collectors and fine jewel connoisseurs a unique chance to acquire a significant 1970s jewel-watch from one of Geneva's most renowned manufacturers.

The Calibre 7-1430, a movement usually reserved for the brand's high jewelry creations, powers the watch. Its sophisticated appearance and unwavering elegance are further enhanced by the fact that the crown is subtly placed on the back of the case for winding and time-setting.
