Single-Owner Example of Ferrari’s Latest Open-Top, Front-Engine V-12 Grand Tourer

Unveiled alongside the coupe in Miami Beach in May 2024, the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider continued Maranello’s tradition of open-top, front-engine V-12 grand tourers. Its name, Italian for “12 cylinders,” placed the engine at the center of the car’s identity, while its design drew inspiration from Ferrari’s front-engine V-12 two-seaters of the 1950s and 1960s. Developed in parallel with the coupe, the Spider added the prospect of enjoying its naturally aspirated V-12 with the roof lowered without abandoning the comfort expected of a modern Ferrari grand tourer.

Its retractable aluminum hardtop opened or closed in just 14 seconds and could be operated at speeds up to 45 km/h. The lightweight construction helped limit weight high in the car, while an electrically adjustable rear screen improved occupant comfort with the roof lowered. Twin rear buttresses gave the Spider its own profile, while aerodynamic channels and active rear elements managed airflow, drag, and downforce.

The Spider shared the coupe’s naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V-12, producing 830 PS at 9,250 rpm and revving to 9,500 rpm. Power reached the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle, while independent rear-wheel steering and Ferrari’s electronic chassis controls contributed to its agility. Ferrari quoted acceleration from 0–100 km/h in 2.95 seconds and a top speed exceeding 340 km/h.

In its February 2025 review, Top Gear magazine found that the Spider “doesn’t feel heavier, slower or floppier than the coupe,” adding that it had lost nothing dynamically from the fixed-roof car. The magazine praised its “razor-sharp turn in, uncanny agility and searing pace,” while noting a 15% increase in structural rigidity over the preceding 812 GTS.

This 2025 Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider was first registered for road use in December 2025 and has remained with its original owner from new. At the time of cataloguing, it displayed just 172 km, reflecting exceptionally limited use.

Its specification is particularly elegant. The exterior is finished in Extra Campionario (Special Order) two-layer Blu America (America Blue) with a contrasting Nero (Black, DS 1250) upper treatment, while the cabin is trimmed in Nero leather. Daytona-style seats feature perforated leather inserts, with Blu (Blue) Cavallino emblems stitched into the headrests. Yellow brake calipers and Scuderia Ferrari fender shields provide restrained exterior accents.

The personalization plaque additionally records an extensive selection of factory options. Carbon fibre was specified for the front spoiler, front air intakes, rear diffuser, rear luggage-compartment trim, under-door covers, door panels, exterior sill kickplates, and upper center console. Further equipment includes a carbon fibre steering wheel with LEDs, passenger display, front-seat massage and ventilation, heated steering wheel, front-axle lift, premium audio system, surround-view cameras, wireless smartphone charging, titanium wheel bolts, active-matrix LED headlights, and black tailpipe tips.

With single ownership from new, and under factory warranty until 14 May 2028, this 12Cilindri Spider features exceptionally low mileage and a sophisticated Blu America Extra Campionario specification, offers an especially appealing opportunity to acquire Ferrari’s latest interpretation of the open-top V-12 grand tourer.
