A Hanau pewter mounted ewer the handle painted with with blue scrolls, the body painted in lemon-yellow and blue with stylised arrangements of fruit, foliage and insects, the pewter cover inscribed IGL with scallop finial, painted mark to the base, circa 1730 (extensively cracked to the base and with rim and foot rim chips, initials probably later) -- 23cm. high
