A gilt metal mounted Sèvres style casket and cover
of waisted shaped rectangular form, the cover painted by Perrot with figures at leisure in a garden, wearing 18th century dress, signed, within a raised gilt scroll cartouche suspending swags of flowers between feuille-de-choux panels of roses, the base with a panel of a couple and landscapes, the interior painted with flowers, crossed arrows mark for Block & Cie. Paris, circa 1900 (mounts repaired) -- 34cm. X 23cm. X 16cm.
