the case with foliate carved arched top, with ringed finials to the angles above mock pilasters with leaf carved capitals, on inverted breakfront base with block feet, the silvered dial with engraved decoration and subsidiary slow/fast and strike/silent rings, signed BEAVEN ENFIELD, the triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, with hour strike on gong and quarter strike on four gongs, pendulum holdfast to the backplate -- 24¾in. (63cm.) high; and the wall bracket en suite, the rectangular platform pierced with trefoils to the sides -- 12¾in. (32.5cm.) high
