Album containing fifty-eight gelatin silver prints, sizes approx. 5 5/8 x 8 in. to 8½ x 11 in. or the reverse, four signed Walash and two with monogram M.C. in the negatives, several titled and occasional dates in ink on mounts, inscribed Walker Knoll College Church Crookham in ink on front blank, red cloth (spine broken and the majority of plates disbound), decorative gilt border on front cover, oblong 4to.

The album documents the irrigation works in Peshawar and includes images of the headworks at Upper Swat canal, Amandara; the aqueduct at Machai Braneh; 'Berton Tunnel Upper Swat Canal'; 'Siphon RD 75000 Machai Br U.S.C.'; Katlang Rest House U.S.C.; native workers inside Benton Tunnel; several images of the large drainage pipe; and a group portrait of the engineers and workers.
