A 1 5/8-inch (4cm.) diameter terrestrial miniature globe, made up of twelve hand coloured engraved gores, the equatorial and the ecliptic both ungraduated, the continents coloured in outline, the oceans showing Cook's last voyage and a partial Antarctic coastline, with Enterby Land marked (gores relaid on modern globe), with folding hand coloured engraved sheet depicting the world's inhabitants in 32 panels with titles in English, German and French (three short tears at folds), the strip 55in. (140cm.) long, 2in. (5cm.) high, attached internally to the blue paper covered box with engraved label to lid.
