signed on the stand ROSS LONDON, No 1952, the body-tube located on an arm with single objective signed Ross London 1.in. No. 20719, the massive rectangular section vertical limb with rack and pinion coarse and micrometer fine focusing, the axis with lever tension working on a quadrant, the fully mechanical stage with skew-gear and rack and pinion motion, the sub-stage assembly similarly adjusted, the lower limb with plano-concave mirror, the stand mounted on a walnut platform base, the microscope -- 20¼in. (51.4cm.) high lowered (lacking carrying case and all accessories)
