Each thinly potted with rounded sides, covered inside and out with a rich pale yellow glaze pooling slightly around the foot and interior of the rim

Lot Essay

Another pair of imperial yellow Kangxi bowls of this size and form, from the T. Y. Chao Collection, was exhibited at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1978, Catalogue no. 45, and sold in Hong Kong, 18 November 1986, lot 97.
