AN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE DECORATED CELADON-GROUND VASE
QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
Of ovoid form, decorated with two oval panels painted in underglaze- blue, one with 'antiques', the other with an inscription and two seals, reserved on a celadon-glazed ground incised with bats and clouds, interrupted by carved shou medallions below a pair of bat-and-ruyi handles on the shoulder in high relief, all between carved lappet borders and incised keyfret bands encircling the neck and foot; together with an unusual teadust-glazed circular rockwork stand, 18th century (each with glaze chips)
